Goal: To be in the league of leading universities.
 Haydar Kilic, Ph.d.

At our university, the chief technology officer is the authorized person who proposes fundamental technology strategies in line with our university's short- or long-term goals. It undertakes a consulting role in determining technology-related strategies in projects developed in collaboration with industry, universities, private institutions, and the public, with the aim of placing our university in the league of leading universities worldwide.

The CTO emerges as a key player in the corporate C-suite, given that digital transformation is a high strategic priority. Our university's CTO collaborates with other C-suite executives to present innovative technology products and services to our rector, guiding our university towards greater efficiency and better performance.

In this context, the fundamental technologies that illuminate the goal of "Being Among the Leading Universities" envisioned by our university's CTO are as follows:

  •   Artificial Intelligence
  •  Quantum Computing
  •  Biotechnology and genome editing
  •  Nanotechnology
  •  Energy Technologies
  •  Space Technologies
  •  Neurotechnology (human machine, brain-computer interfaces, etc.)
  •  Big Data and Data Science
  •  Sustainable Technologies

These technologies will elevate our university to the highest level by combining it with a new university model that transcends eras in the "Education-R&D-Product Development" triangle.

Many of the new generation leaders are currently studying at our university. To succeed in this new future, they need:

  •   A pioneering advantage
  •   A global perspective
  •   The ability to create real social impact
  •   As a university,
  •   We should not only develop skills.
  • We must create life-changing experiences.

These experiences should inspire and empower students to transform themselves, their careers, and the world.
