He completed his undergraduate education at Karadeniz Technical University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department (1998), his master's degree at Gebze Technical University Computer Engineering Department (2000), and his PhD at Gazi University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department (2010).
He started his career in 1999 at Istanbul Transportation Inc., worked in Istanbul Metro communication and scada systems, Turkey's first domestic tram vehicle projects. He started his studies on the Defense Industry in 2003 at METU Technopolis. Between 2004-2020, he worked as an expert researcher, chief researcher and technical assistant director of the institute at TÜBİTAK SAGE and TÜBİTAK UZAY. He contributed to various missile, missile subsystems and electronic warfare projects as a manager in charge of research and design groups at TÜBİTAK SAGE. He worked as an earth observation satellite project and optical systems research infrastructure manager at TÜBİTAK UZAY. In addition to his duties as a Board Member at TÜBİTAK UZAY, which develops satellite systems, and DeltaV Space Technologies AŞ, which develops satellite launch systems; He served as a Member of the Executive Board for strategic missile projects created under the Presidency of Defense Industry. He became Associate Professor in 2017. He transfers his experience in the field of defense and space technologies to young people through the courses he gives at various universities. He served as a referee in TÜBİTAK Projects, academic journals and congresses. He has many national and international publications. He is fluent in English and intermediate Russian languages. His fields of study are optical communication, modulation techniques, optical turbulence and infrared sensors.
