He completed his undergraduate and graduate education in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Middle East Technical University. He completed his doctorate in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering at the University of California.

He worked as a manager at Lucent Technologies INC in 2002, as a vice president and CEO consultant at ZTE, INC in 2004, and as technical chief and management consultant at CISC in 2008. Finally, he continues to work as Lead MTS, Director of RAN Evolution Architecture & Network Realization at a technology company called AT&T.
