She received B.Arch. degree (2004) being awarded first-class honors from Selçuk University. She earned M.Arch. degree on architectural design of community-based/inclusive rehabilitation centres in the Department of Architecture, Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2008. In the same department, she received her Ph.D. degree in 2015 with his dissertation on inclusive university campus design. During her graduation studies, she had worked as a research and teaching assistant in the Department of Architecture, METU where she worked for teaching architectural design, practice and theory courses and research projects. Between 2016 and 2020, she conducted theoretical and applied courses on architectural design, interior architectural design, inclusive / universal design, disability policy, sustainable design, and urban perception at Atılım University and Başkent University. Her current research fields are architectural education, interior architecture and environmental design education, inclusive/universal design, cinema and disability, refugee and accommodation.
